Medical Appointment and Mass
Sorry!!!! Kevin is sending pictures but they don't always show up in his album. So......they are now in Guangzhou, which is their last stop before coming home. They arrived there on Friday evening and on Saturday they took Julia to have her medical appointment. Kevin said she passed with flying colors and there were no tears. Yay! Joy cried and cried for hers. I can't imagine Julia ever crying. She is a wild and crazy girl and is always making people laugh. Kevin says he is not sure what she is saying to these people is appropriate, though. Seems she may have had a bit of an unorthodox education..........sigh...........Yesterday they went to Mass. There is a beautiful Catholic Church on Shaiman Island and I really hoped that Julia would get to attend Mass there and hear it in Mandarin, before we brought her home and tried to get her to Mass in English. Well, she did get to do just that! And the priest sat with her and talked to her about Jesus, etc. Yay! How nice of him to take the time for that. Kevin says she was very curious about all of it and sat still through Mass and even prayed. Grandma says she sang along, too. God is everywhere! Even in China with Julia!
