Wow! It's Saturday night and already Joy has had a busy weekend! Well, what can you expect? Last night we took her to the Sandwich Fair. I'll do another post on that tomorrow. Today is all about welcoming Joy. Today we went up to my Mom and Dad's for a family reunion. They generally happen every September. But, this year was extra special. This year we welcomed Joy! Every year Kevin and I sit and watch everyone play w/ their kids. We usually feel a bit left out. Occasionally there are tears. Mine, of course.....I'm such a sap......sigh....Anyways.....This year was different. This year we brought Joy to meet her Great Aunt and Uncle, cousins and new friends. She enjoyed them all! They brought her gifts, which didn't hurt! She loves presents! And there was cake involved! You know how important cake is! Joy went on her first tractor ride with her cousins and Grandpa. Loved it! She sniffed Grandma's flowers. She opened presents. She stole her cousin's shoes. Cousin didn't like that. She blew bubbles. I'm not sure if there is anything she didn't do. She's a busy girl, you know! Overall, we had a lovely day just being with family and celebrating Joy. She liked celebrating Joy, too. She received some lovely gifts. Especially an egg from Grandma and Grandpa. Her egg has scenes from America on it. It's so beautiful! We also received an egg. Ours has scenes from China on it and also Joy's picture. My Mom is sooooooo talented! She can also throw an awesome party! Thanks, Mom and Dad! We had a great time. The best reunion ever! Here's some photos from today!
