Funnel cakes were eaten. Cheese curds were chowed. And lemon drinks were guzzled. That's right! We hit the fair! It was gorgeous weather and Joy is a little older and more into the whole thing. I got to visit the goats and Kevin got his cheese curds. Happiness abounds! Our fair is the best fair! The grounds are loaded with trees and the buildings are Victorian. We've got a train. We have old fashioned engines that sputter and pop. We have cow poop. We have goats. There are quilts and pies. Jellies and photography. Chocolate covered and deep-fried bacon (huh?) and frozen bananas. Did I mention the goats????? It's noisy (tractor pull), it's crowded and occasionally stinky. It's the fair!
