It happens every year. Summer ends and Kevin goes back to work. Last year was such a whirlwind, but this year we had a summer. There was fishing, the beach, ice cream, visits to and from Grandparents. There were walks, grilling, ice cream (did I say that?) and fireflies. We planted flowers and looked for seeds. We watched butterflies and chased birds. And, although Kevin goes back tomorrow, summer isn't quite over yet. It is still warm (hot, actually) and the days are still pretty long. The park is still there each and every night. And we will be there, too! Fishing, chasing butterflies and coming home to ice cream. And during the day, while Daddy is working, Joy and I will be doing some projects, too. We have great plans for some pre-school-like activities! The alphabet beckons and so do numbers and colors. Joy is very curious and is ready for learning! So, we will be learning! Potty training is also part of her schooling! Hee, hee!
