We have our first "A"!!!!! When you're adopting, there are many "A's". The first one is "PA". That is Pre-approval. This is when you have found your child and have asked China for permission to adopt. You send them your Letter of Intent (LOI) and they issue Pre-approval. Next, we will be starting our homestudy and compiling our dossier. LOADS of paperwork! All of that will take about 4 months.....hopefully. We have to be DTC-date to China in 6 months! Then we receive LOA-Letter of Acceptance. That is when I will be allowed to post a picture of our girl on here. For now, most of you will just have to be patient. Sorry! Them's the rules! But, here are some tidbits: She is 7 years old......she has Spina Bifida and is mobile.....she smirks in all her photos.....she loves candy.......she looks a lot like Joy-many, many people have thought she was Joy......she's a girly girl and I hope to get some bows into her hair, since Joy is not a bow girl. So, that's all you get for now................of course, if one were to email me I might slip a little picture or two in there........................
