The weather

So, as most people do, when there's nothing to talk about.......how's the weather by you? Here, in Northern IL in March.....we are having our 4th (yes, 4th) day of 80 plus degrees and sun! The Jonquils are blooming, the Crocuses (is that a word?) are blooming, the Violets are blooming and my Korean Vibernum is blooming. In fact, it's like 7 feet tall and covered in flowers. And it smells soooooo good! But, I digress......back to the weather.....We are in bare feet and shorts and the windows are wide open......today is St. Patrick's Day and Joy is wearing her t-shirt and shorts.....odd......but, who am I to complain??? We have had picnics at the park. We have checked out the birds passing thru. We have eaten pretty much every meal on the porch. Last night we looked at Mars, Saturn, Jupiter and Venus at 11 p.m. wearing our summer clothes and bare feet.....outside! In March! Next, we need to get some gas for the grill.......and put away the snowpants......well, maybe not....it is Illinois!
