Well, we had one busy weekend! On Friday it was homecoming here in town. Joy was very excited. She wanted to go to town and get suckers. She got her wish! There are many advantages to being a cute kid at a parade. Candy is one of 'em! She did well. Oh-and it was 70 degrees and sunny! Last year we wore winter gear and brought our umbrella! On Saturday, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's. There were leaves to play in, haybales to climb on and a lovely haywagon to explore. It was cold, but Joy got to run and burn off some energy! On Sunday, we went to Marmion for Mass and then out to the pumpkin farm. This is not a cheap trip, but Joy had a blast and there was a hayride and a jumpy house thing with a slide. That little girl slept well, let me tell ya! And now that the nasty, cold weather is gone for a bit, who knows where we might end up next. Something tells me it might be Minnesota for apples! Oh, whipped cream and caramel-here I come!!!!!
