Joy update!

Well.....herself is back at school and very pleased I might add!  She finally gave up the fever on Sunday afternoon.  That's 10 days in a row with a nice high fever.  Geesh!  Pneumonia is nasty stuff!  During her little illness she managed to lose 5 lbs.  Now...........I would be thrilled to lose 5 little pounds, but when you only weigh 40 lbs. to begin with.......well......5 lbs. is a lot.  Her little ribs were sticking out and her arms and legs looked like toothpicks.  Not good.  But, as of last night, she is back up to 39 lbs.!  Yahooooo!  She is still a bit pale and she still enjoys a nap but she's definitely more herself these days.  Just ask Daddy!  Heh, heh.......guess he forgot how the two of them are when they're both healthy!  You don't realize how sick Joy is until she's better!  But, I will take her crazy antics and cranky attitude any 'ole day!  MUCH better than the grey little girl who lay on the couch all week and rarely spoke........except to cry............not good......not good at all.  Healthy Joy is the best!  Attitude and all!
