More Birthday and Article 5 drop off

The queen's birthday celebrations went on for several days.....she had a party on New Year's day for Grandma and Grandpa, who are keeping in warm in AZ, and then a party on Sunday for my family and then there is the actual birthday.  And herself thinks this will just keep going!  Yesterday she wanted cake for breakfast because it's her birthday.  I explained that her birthday was Tuesday and there would be no cake for breakfast.  She was okay with that as long as there would be cake for dessert after lunch.  There was......not that she actually eats the cake......just the ice cream I put in the bowl with the cake.  Sigh.....

We also learned our Article 5 was picked up yesterday from the American Consulate in Guangzhou and delivered to the CCCWA in Beijing.  Hopefully they will issue our Travel Approval quickly and we can make our Consulate Appointment!  Travel should be after Chinese New Year, which is Feb. 10th!  We are getting closer!
