We have actually been able to leave the house! Which is a good thing because, well, we were getting kind of nuts over here! So, what have we been up to???? We have been hiking, baking, playing, swimming, mailing paperwork all over the place and just trying to be outside. We have seen deer, hawks and........an owl!!!!! A Great-horned owl, no less!
Inside we are re-organizing and trying to clear out Wen Wen's bedroom. It would be nice if she could keep her clothes in her closet and sleep on a bed, right? Paperwork is moving along, too. Our I800A has arrived at the lockbox in Texas, and will now be heading to the National Benefits Center. So, soon we will have fingerprints done! All our other paperwork is in Chicago, at the Chinese Embassy awaiting their approval. Hopefully, that will go well. We have already had 4 documents rejected for silly reason. The state rejected 3 of them because the notary used a stamp that wasn't valid for 4 days yet and the embassy rejected one because the doctor put the wrong date on my physical. Sigh...........all part of the fun, right? I am hoping and praying that everything will be fine and we will mail everything (except our I800A approval) off to our agency next week. Cross your fingers and fold your hands, okay?????
